Yolda spent her days at the front desk of Diversified Cuts, and in that seat she became the first face and the first smile everyone saw. She remembered people’s names, their kids’ names, how they took their coffee. She made a barbershop feel like family.

This scholarship is our way of keeping a piece of her at the front of our industry: helping someone just starting out get where they’re going, the same way she helped all of us feel like we belonged.

Who Can Apply

To be eligible for the Rosyanny “Yolda” Sanchez Memorial Scholarship, applicants must:

Be 18 years of age or older.
Be a resident of the United States.
Be currently enrolled in an eligible accredited beauty or barbering program within the 48 continental states.
Have not previously been awarded the Rosyanny “Yolda” Sanchez Memorial Scholarship. Previous applicants who were not selected are welcome to apply again.
Complete all application requirements by the stated deadline.

Eligibility Requirements

I confirm that I am 18 years of age or older, am a resident of the United States, am currently enrolled in an eligible accredited beauty or barbering program within the 48 continental states, have not previously been awarded the Rosyanny “Yolda” Sanchez Memorial Scholarship, and agree to complete all application requirements by the stated deadline.

Media Release

I authorize Diversified Cuts to use and share my submitted application video, responses, name, and likeness for promotional and marketing purposes related to the Rosyanny "Yolda" Sanchez Memorial Scholarship.

Video Updates

If selected as the scholarship recipient, I would be happy to share occasional video updates about my educational journey and progress in the beauty or barbering industry. I understand that these updates may be shared on Diversified Cuts' website and social media channels.
